National Environment Protection (Assessment of Site Contamination) Measure 1999

The National Environment Protection (Assessment of Site Contamination) Measure 1999 (NEPM) was amended on the 16th May 2013. The amendments aim to establish a nationally consistent approach to the assessment of site contamination. The changes seek to ensure sound environmental management practices by the community which includes regulators, site assessors, developers and industry.

MHC implement this legislation when undertaking a contaminated site assessment. This legislation outlines the framework to provide adequate protection of human health and the environment, where site contamination has occurred. Mitchel Hanlon Consulting are able to meet your site contamination assessment needs from preliminary assessments, to sample analysis, and remediation recommendations.
